Amanda King, H.I.S.
Amanda King, H.I.S., is a Hearing Instrument Specialist at AudioNova in the Virginia Beach clinic. Her clinical specialties include working with adults, hearing aid fittings, and custom ear molds. She attended Old Dominion University and is a proud member of the Oticon Presidents Club, and also volunteers with the SPCA.
Amanda became a hearing care provider because she wanted to have a positive impact on her community and her background in otolaryngology taught her to love hearing. Her favorite part of working as a hearing care provider is listening to people tell her about all of the sounds they had forgotten that they now get to enjoy again.
Amanda is passionate about causes like the National Association for Hearing and Speech Action. She is dedicated to helping all her patients hear the world around them and has been a provider for 15 years. Having grown up in Virginia and lived around Hampton Roads, Amanda and her family now call Virginia Beach home.
Outside of work, she is happily married with one son and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, going to the beach, the gym, and watching Harry Potter movies. Their dog, Timber, is also a big part of their family's adventures.
