Dane Leavitt, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Dane Leavitt, Au.D., CCC-A is a dedicated Doctor of Audiology at AudioNova in New Braunfels. In 2019, he graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. He received his Audiology Doctorate (Au.D.) from Texas Tech University and Health Sciences Center after completing his undergraduate studies.
Dr. Leavitt specializes in tinnitus retraining therapy, aural rehabilitation training, hearing aid fitting, cerumen management, diagnosing and treating hearing loss, cognitive decline prevention, and extended wear care. With experience working with all hearing aid manufacturers and serving as the sole full-time audiology provider in two separate offices, he is credentialed through ASHA with a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology. He is a Dementia Certified Practitioner through NCCDP.
Dr. Leavitt volunteers with his local church community and is passionate about dementia prevention and management, aiming to bring peace and hope to the hopeless through both patient hearing care and personal connections. His favorite part of working as a hearing care provider is seeing a patient leave the office with hope in their eyes of a better and clearer future.
Outside of work Dr. Leavitt enjoys rock climbing, pickleball, angler and fly fishing, participating in Spartan and half-marathon races, climbing 14ers in Colorado, kayaking, game nights with his family, and being involved in his local church.
