Jasmine Wakoson, H.I.S.
Jasmine Wakoson, HIS alumni of Stephen F. Austin State University, BA-2010 , grew up in the DFW metroplex and later moved to South Sudan. While living in South Sudan, she spent a lot of time traveling with her older brother who is deaf. After witnessing the neglect in hearing health, she decided to pursue her career in the hearing health industry. She has been working in the hearing healthcare industry since 2014. She began her career as Patient Care Coordinator, then transitioned to a Patient Care Coordinator Regional Trainer, and now a Hearing Aid Dispenser.
Message to my patients:
I always say deafness is a silent disability: you can't see, and it's not life-threatening, so it has to touch your life in some way in order for it to be on your radar.
