Catherine Maynard, HAS
Catherine Maynard, also known as Cat, HAS, is a Hearing Aid Specialist at AudioNova in the Charleston clinic. Her clinical specialties include hearing aid fitting and examination. She has passed on her knowledge and educated others in the hearing industry, helping them become licensed. Catherine volunteers with the Local Church and Freedom Church MC and is passionate about mental health awareness and helping others. She aims to improve her patients' quality of life through better hearing and understanding.
Catherine studied hearing health under mentorship, learning the technical side of hearing health, and passed her state written and practical exam in 2020. She became a hearing care provider after witnessing firsthand how much it can improve someone's quality of life. Her first patient, a 99-year-old woman with profound hearing loss, heard her family for the first time in years, which deeply moved Catherine. Her favorite part of working as a hearing care provider is making a positive difference in someone's life. Outside of work, Catherine's other passion is photography. She owns a photography business and specializes in various areas, including maternity, newborn, weddings, family, graduation, and headshots.
