Erica Ferguson, BC-HIS
Erica Ferguson, BC-HIS, is a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist for AudioNova in the Springboro clinic. She is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and has been licensed as a Hearing Aid Specialist by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board since 2008. With extensive training in tinnitus, live speech mapping, real ear measurement, deep ear impressions, and proficiency with all brands of hearing aids and audiometric equipment, she is well-equipped to meet the needs of any individual.
Throughout her career, Erica has received numerous awards for outstanding customer care and was named Miracle Maker of the Year for four consecutive years. Erica is a member of the International Hearing Society and the Hearing Healthcare Alliance of Ohio. She is passionate about educating people about hearing loss, helping them develop compassion for others, and encouraging them to seek help with their hearing needs. She frequently donates hearing aids to the Compassion Networks for children in third-world countries to improve their quality of life and increase their chances of survival.
Erica aims to be remembered as the hearing provider who made her patients hear when nobody else could. She finds joy in seeing the smiles on their faces when they hear the wind blow, a bird chirp, or their grandchild say "I love you" for the first time.
Erica became a hearing care provider after witnessing the struggles her family members faced in receiving help and aftercare at the local VA. She wanted to better understand how to explain what they were hearing or not hearing, so they could use their hearing aids more effectively.
Her favorite part of working as a hearing care provider is helping people hear better, whether it's their first set or their fifth set of hearing aids and receiving referrals from satisfied patients. She is a lifelong resident of Ohio, where she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She and her husband also enjoy long rides on their Softail motorcycle, exploring different cuisines.
