Audiology Services
Our hearing experts provide a wide range of hearing services from a staff of highly trained professionals.
Amber Wagster, AuD CCC-A, is a committed Doctor of Audiology for AudioNova/Ohio Hearing at the Sandusky clinic. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss. Amber completed her undergraduate studies at Harding University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a minor in healthcare management. After undergrad, she earned a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from the Northeast Ohio AuD Consortium through Kent State University. During her last year of graduate school, Amber provided care to the veteran population at the Hershel “Woody” Williams VAMC in Huntington, WV. After graduating, she worked as an Audiologist at a hospital in Ashland, KY, where she provided a wide range of audiologic services including hearing testing, hearing aid fittings with follow up care, vestibular testing, and counseling on tinnitus management strategies for children and adults. She is a proud member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds an ASHA certification in audiology (CCC-A). It is Amber’s passion to reduce the impact hearing loss and tinnitus have on people’s lives by raising awareness about the link between hearing loss and mental health. Seeing people’s lives improve is her favorite part of being a hearing care provider. Outside of work Amber enjoys painting, gardening, exploring new places with her husband, Alex, and spoiling their dog, Alfredo.
