"Dr. Nicolle Yopa joined AudioNova in 2022. She is an Ohio native and returned home after practicing out of state for eight years. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences from Ohio University She also received her Doctorate of Audiology from the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium.
Prior to graduation, Dr. Yopa completed her externship at Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat Associates where she worked with patients of all ages in traditional hearing aids, cochlear implants, and comprehensive auditory/vestibular diagnostics. She has expertise in an array of advanced technological solutions, including traditional hearing aids, bone-anchored hearing aids, and cochlear implants. She has a primary interest in traditional hearing aids with the adult population. She strongly believes that patient education is paramount in successful treatment of hearing loss, and the best outcome is when the patient’s spouse and/or a loved one is involved.
Dr. Yopa has an extensive family history of hereditary hearing loss; therefore, her experience with individuals with hearing impairment started at a young age.
While not in clinic she enjoys outings with friends, visiting the newest family-owned restaurants, spending time with family, the outdoors, and traveling. One of her passions outside of work is advocating for animals."
