The audiological staff at Connect Hearing by AudioNova have been proudly serving the residents of Clermont for many years. We are a vital member of Clermont's vibrant healthcare community and take pride in providing world-class hearing care locally.
- Scott Chaput, B.S, H.A.S, BC-HISLike Many Florida Residents, Scott Chaput was originally a northerner. Hailing from Maine, where he ran his own optical and hearing aid business for 27 years, Scott finally relocated to Florida to escape the cold winters. Scott earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Maine of Orono, and then became board certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. He learned the trade from his father-in-law who was an optician, as well as a hearing Aid Specialist. Scott is now one of the few people in Florida with experience in both fields. Scott is also a member of the Florida Society of Hearing Health Professionals (FSHHP), and holds American Board of Opticianry ( ABO) and National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE) Certification. In Addition to his education and affiliations, Scott brings his substantial business experience to the AudioNova team. His past employment history includes work for Hear USA, Mid Florida eye and hearing, and Kaufman eye institute in Florida, as well as his own places of business, Vision Express and PionEar Hearing in Maine. Scott specializes in testing, fitting, and hearing aid repair. Scott resides in Mt.Dora with is Wife Celeste. In his free time, Scott enjoys baseball, fishing, traveling and walking their Collies downtown with his wife.
- Jill Gentile, H.I.S.Jill Gentile, H.I.S., is a dedicated Hearing Instrument Specialist based in Florida. She completed her studies at the International Institute for Hearing Instruments and is a proud member of the International Hearing Aid Society. With expertise in hearing technology, device fitting, testing, and programming, Jill is committed to helping her patients reconnect with the sounds of life. She also provides counseling and support to patients and their families, addressing the psychological and social impacts of untreated hearing loss. From the vibrant lights of Las Vegas to the serene beaches of Florida, Jill’s passion lies in helping people rediscover the joy of hearing.
